At a time when people are afraid and some are suffering, and when many will feel the financial impact of the COVID-19 crisis, it feels incredibly tasteless to bring up the matter of money. Here at Regina Mundi, we are doing every reasonable thing we can to reduce expenses to ensure that we keep the parish afloat until we get back to normal. We are ok at the present moment; however, things may become bleak if we remain in a state of shutdown for too long. Our average weekend collection is around $6100. This past weekend, with no Mass, our collection was about $950 (about 15% of the average). This was mostly from those who support the parish by electronic fund transfer (EFT). Thank you so much.
Believe me when I say that I understand that this is not the best time to ask you to consider continuing to financially support the parish even though Mass is not being celebrated with the community. However, please consider it if you are able. The ongoing financial health and even longterm viability of the parish may depend on it. If you wish to get set up on electronic fund transfer (EFT), click HERE for the form. You can fill it out and return it to the office, or email it to email@example.com. You may also wish to provide a cheque or a series of postdated cheques using your envelopes and then drop them off in the mail slot of the parish office (or mail them in).
I want to thank you all so much for all the many ways in which you support the parish, and for your understanding during this trying time.
Oh, and also, if you want to stay connected with me and other parishioners in a more interactive way, then you can head on over to my own website at www.fatheradamvoisin.com. I am posting things there regularly.
Sincerely in Christ,
Fr. Adam Voisin
