Becoming Catholic – RCIA

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

Perhaps you are…

• A baptized Catholic with very little religious formation?

• A Christian who was baptized and raised in a different denomination?

• Someone who has never been baptized?

The RCIA is an exploration of the essentials of the Catholic faith in a series of weekly meetings. It is an opportunity to ask those questions you have always had, and to explore your own faith and membership in the Church.

RCIA is not a course with papers and marks. Rather, it is a weekly gathering with like-minded inquirers, parishioners and parish staff. It is an opportunity to learn more about God’s revelation in Jesus Christ and the life of the Church that Jesus founded.

We are now beginning preparations for 2018-2019. Meetings will take place Wednesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. beginning on October 17, 2018. For further Information, or to register, please call Fr. Adam Voisin at the parish office before October 2018.

We also offer a version of RCIA tailored to children for those in Grade 3 or older who have not yet been baptized. Sessions for them will begin in October. Please contact Fr. Adam at the parish office at 905-385-3297 for further information.
