About: St. John Paul II said in his address to Altar Servers around the world: “The altar server occupies a privileged place in the liturgical celebration…Therefore, in the liturgy; you are much more than simple ‘helpers of the parish priest.’ Above all, you are servers of Jesus Christ, of the eternal High Priest”.

Regina Mundi Altar Servers Ministry gives young Catholics an opportunity to grow in their faith and become more active in the celebration of the Mass. We are proud of our many experienced and dedicated Altar Servers in our parish who have had the honour of receiving the Serra Club of Hamilton’s Bishops Award for Service. Our serves also grow in fellowship through their shared mission, as well as outings and Christmas parties.

Who Can Join? All young people of our parish, Grades 4 and up are welcome and encouraged to join our ministry.

Meeting Schedule
We serve at our 5pm Saturday evening mass, 9am and 11am Sunday Masses. Additionally, servers also participate in special masses such as Confirmations, Christmas, the Easter Triduum, and weddings.
Training will be provided for all new servers and meetings are held 3 – 4 times a year.
