First Communion

First Communion
The holy Eucharist completes Christian initiation. Those who have been raised to the dignity of the royal priesthood by Baptism and configured more deeply to Christ by Confirmation participate with the whole community in the Lord’s own sacrifice by means of the Eucharist (CCC 1322). The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life (Lumen Gentium 11). 

First Holy Communion
This is celebrated each year by Regina Mundi Parish with those children who are: 

• Students in our Parish Schools 

• Students in Public or Private schools, but are in Grade 2 and are parishioners 

• Older children who have been baptized, but have not yet received the Sacrament
